8:30 Arrival, Breakfast, First Nation Youth Drummer

Breakfast by Lydia’s Kind Foods: Herbal Chai with rooibos, homemade Coconut “Melk” and coconut sugar. Caffeine-free! Coffee: Fair-Trade and Organic. Herbal Tea. Homemade Autumn-Spice Granola with fruit. Platter Scramble with our award-winning veggie burger bites, spinach, potatoes and red bell peppers. Super Salad with our special blend of mixed sprouts, seasonal greens & homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

 

9:00 Program Begins: Intro/Year in Review/Personal Stories/Kaila Love

This portion of the day will introduce the program, review the territory, and feature personal stories. Speakers include Cio Hernandez, Sylvie Knepler, Jessica Jackson Sloan, Leslie Garcia, Felicia Chavez, and representatives from the Canal neighborhood. Keynote: Kaila Love

11:00 Interactive Portion of the Day Setup: Providing Context

 

12:15 – 1:00 Lunch & ISOJI Wizards Band

LUNCH BY LYDIA’S KIND FOODS: Collard Wraps with our famous Cashew “Cheez”, grated carrots & red cabbage, cilantro, red bell pepper and our homemade Sesame Dipping Sauce. Includes Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with kale and Coconut “Melk”. Served in a cup. --OR-- Curry Plate: Vegetable Coconut Cashew Curry, brown rice and salad. An all-time favorite!

Beverage: Mint Zinger with fresh mint, lemon juice & raw agave. Very refreshing!

Dessert: Award-Winning Chocolate Chip Zucchini Cookie.

 

1:00 – 3:00 Interactive building of the Living Equity Agenda

 

3:15 Afternoon Speakers

The day winds up with dynamic speakers, including Zach McRae of the San Francisco Foundation, Barbara Clifton Zarate of the Marin Community Foundation, and keynote speaker john a powell, of the Hass Institute at Berkeley, from 4:00-4:45.

4:45 – 5:00 Closing

5:00 – 6:00 We will need help loading out so feel free to stay and help!
